Work It Out:  Helpers In Our Community

This Interactive AAC Language & Literacy Activity Set is a language and communication focused lesson targets our community helpers, the places they work and the tools they use.  Of course we are always targeting our core sight words! Including:

• Where Are the Helpers- A simple sorting activity for students to select the helper and decide which of 9 locations they might work.
• Helpers & Their Tools - Cut and paste to give the helpers tools they need to do the job!
• Where Are My Words- AAC device screenshots for finding school supplies in our communication systems (TD Snap, TouchChat, LAMP-WFL, Proloquo2Go) so we can keep talking when the activity is done!
• Whatcha' Think- Talking topics related to our helpers and occupation choices
• Write About It:  My Work- Student choose a profession and write about it using describing words and word associations.
